WELCOME
So the idea here is to keep everyone up-to-date with the making of my animated film, Stay Cool. I certainly appreciate all of the encouragement that I have been receiving from everyone and I hope this blog is a benefit to all of you who seem to be interested. I have no doubt that it will be a benefit to me.
I feel compelled to be recording this rather important part of my life, and this seems to be the most responsible thing to do... ...to make it all public in the hope that it will serve as an inspiration and an education of sorts. (Not to mention that its a great way for my graduate committee to keep tabs on this loose-cannon-right-brainer that they've been swindled into overseeing.) This film is really getting made, which is both surreal and exhilarating ...and intimidating.
I hope to provide insight into the design of the film, since this concept coincides with my graduate research in visual development at ACCAD. However, I can tell you now that I won't be able to help myself from going on and on about all of the other aspects of making an animated film (you really should try it sometime) and especially about the work of my remarkable crew. I will also be referring you to a great many artists from and beyond the animation industry from whom I draw influence.
And let's not forget our star, Fritz Fizz (believe me, I tired to avoid aliteration, but it was just too darn catchy... ...not to mention phonetically appropo). It is inevitable that we will all get to know him better. So thanks. Thanks for clicking in and I hope you're inspired while you're here.
